There's not a lot of headlines about the sort of corrupt system that makes that happen. So children going into poverty, but the barber's wife, right? Is the greatest scandal ever. And so this kind of good government, a veneer, is really just the way of nickel and diming social programms meant to help the poor. One of the other underlying themes of investigative reporting, particularly in media coded as prestigous, is, well, to put it charitably, aly dubious sourcing and over reliance on us.
