The Loss of Ukrainian Art in the Crimean Capital
On the 15th, we went into the museum and when I saw the empty shelves, everything empty, only a huge torn portrait of Lenin was left behind. Alina is obviously heartbroken and she described the full extent of the loss for Ukraine. There are lots of people who are working on returning Ukrainian art back home. The UN's cultural organization, UNESCO, is a teaching board of guards how to identify and then return stolen masterpieces.
