MMA - How Long Did It Take?

I think most MMA fans don't realize what it was like in the early days, man. It was all... A lot of stuff was unsanctioned. A lot of it took place on Indian reservations where there weren't the same laws and stuff. I actually interviewed Hal for years ago and he told the story of how he had to tie a bed sheet to the side of a window and escape out of a motel. When you said you've run him from police and stuff, they were coming to bust everybody for doing these essentially MMA fights that were just not legal yet. He beat me up worse than any man could ever beat me again. So I'm not scared to fight anyone
