The Cost of Densification in New Zealand

Every time they say yes to someone densifying or building a new suburb, the council has to spend a lot of money on infrastructure. Councils don't want development because it costs too much in infrastructure. In New Zealand right now, there are 24,000 people on a waiting list to get into a house. They are essentially homeless. It's all about housing and not having affordable, clean, dry housing. That means we're going to try to reduce our emissions into the atmosphere.
