The History of Knossos

There are only one or two depictions of sheep at Knossos and none on the fresco's. This is a great export center almost administration center. That's how important Knossos was as an industrial center rather than a palace say or a religious sanctuary which is however presented it. Grown in a must ask is a slight tangent. You have these smaller round objects about the size of a 1P coin today. What are these objects because they also depict balls? Well these are seal stones so in Bronze Age Crete you would have worn one of those around your wrist to sign when you delivered your sheep.
