I Saw You Under the Fig Tree, Rabbi
Nathaniel said to him, how do you know me? Jesus answered him, before Philip called you when you were under the fig tree, I saw you. So we don't know that where Nathaniel actually was, was he, did Jesus see him long distance? But there seems to be something else going on here because Nathaniel's response seems out of proportion from just this brief introduction.
