The Importance of Male Friendship
There was a big distance, which went on quite a long time. I had feelings, you know. And they were okay to happen. In a way, it's a different age. The feelings are okay. Sometimes a bit controversial, but at least we have them. But, yeah, it took time. There was a period from about 1970, the early 70s, 74, 75, up to probably the end of the 80s,. certainly 10 years, possibly 15 years, when he was really on the edge of everything.
