The Tory Party Is Full of Divisions
Both of our two big political parties are really, really broad churches. The nature of the first past the post system at Westminster is that your party will contain MPs in all likelihood of a very broad range of opinions. So you can never be definitive about the view of a group. It was a pretty comprehensive answer. Let's throw the ball north to Wakefield and Alex. They are short hands that we occasionally lean on as reporters,. but get across that sense of often the breadth of opinion within a single parliamentary party in this instance.
