Vitez: A Distributed System
Vitez is a distributed system. Where a bunch of components come together to form this big giant thing. Initially we had named it Voltron. It's a Japanese cartoon. And the idea was that we tested a bunch of pieces that come together to. Oh, I see. So that model still makes sense because Vitez isA distributed system. where a bunch of Components come and work together. Originally we didn't want to start off by open sourcing. We deployed it within YouTube. Our deployment scripts used to read off of our home directory. No one called you on that. You're disabled. You're kind of get away with that.
