The Future of the Metaverse

We already have in place most of the infrastructure we need for federated identity across many different ecosystems. We also need standards for ownership of digital objects if we want to create an economy around this future metaverse. I think what you really want is one single huge shared world that everybody can participate in seamlessly. It will require massive, massive numbers of servers all over the world to host.
