The Obstacles as the Way

CNN's John Sutter shares his favorite examples of how an obstacle can be turned into a path forward. Marcus Aurelius, he says, was beset by troubles but never lost command of himself or the empire. He leads a two month sale of Rome's treasures during the Antonine Plague to raise money for other people who were suffering. "To me, that's what the idea of the obstacles the way means," said Sutter.
