In 18 93, vladimir ilyitch moved to the big city for good. He arrived in saint petersburg in august and got hooked up with a not too difficult associate lawyers position that allowed him to spend most of his time around the small, but growing marxist reading circles. His sister olga, the sibling with whom vladimir was closest succumbed to typhoid. Vladimir lived with her at this point and nursed her, but to no avail. And she died in may f 18 91, practically in his arms. Shortly after passing the law exams and burying his sister, came the great famine of 18 91 18 92.
