The Importance of Consistency in Empiricism
In the natural sciences, for instance, water always freezes at zero degrees centigrade. Well, boils at 100, right? There's a constant relationship there that no one can really change or do anything about it's something we discovered in nature. The constancy of those relations is what lets what allows empiricism to function in a way. In Bitcoin, whatever we end up coming to consensus around is the correct next block becomes that next block. So reality in Bitcoin is defined by whatever happened in the time chain. And also an aspect of it, I find extremely fascinating.
