Roger Warren's Crawl Tunnel
After 18 years in jail, Roger Warren was granted day parole and eventually released. Lawyers with the association and defense of the wrongly convicted examined his case but ultimately decided against taking up the case of trying to exonerate him. In 2003, when Warren confessed to the crime all over again, he said he had recanted his confession at his trial because he couldn't bear to have my family think I could do such a stupid thing. He told his parole hearing that he was sorry for all the pain he'd caused, but it was pain that should have never been inflicted in the first place.
