The Filtering Mechanism

The connection between our eyes and brain is a huge filtering mechanism. Our focus of attention, what you can see with great acuity, is relatively small. So to make sense of all this information that's around us, we have to be selective in what we pay attention to. And sometimes we don't decide, but our brain decides for us.
