Love your neighbor as yourself to honor your father and your mother is a wise thing to do. Commandments of men are not always wise, but let me give you some examples in which they're wise. God gives us commands because they protect us from that which is negative,. They promote in our life that which is positive. When we study wisdom you will find commands in that wisdom.
