Is the CISO Better Off Being a Security Leader?
I think that somebody who kind of grows up going through a bunch of different roles in security and kind of understanding those develops into a better security leader overall, quickly. That's personal opinion. But, you know, if you look at micro-electric trajectory at this point, I started off in desktop support for prodigy internet back in the day. We've been the system administration, did time and network operations, app, SAC dev, worked in FinTech. You start combining all these different experiences and you get a pretty good puzzle or holistic view.
