How to Make a Domed Cake
I do this whole magazine about cake but I'm not a baker and the one time I made a dome cake it was a Martha Stewart like 1981 recipe. When it came time to turn it out I couldn't do it I had to get someone else to do it. Sometimes I'll freeze that whole cake then when you're turning it out you don't have to worry about like layers sliding around or anything. It's easier for the baker to kind of like do that finishing swoop of icing or whatever.
