Is There a Difference Between React and JavaScript?

Roxanne Jones: I'm thinking that, you know, maybe this was kind of pushed forward by what happened with react. But at the same time, react and they announced a lot of intentions, but didn't quite follow through for three years. So I'm wondering whether it's this kind of a thing where everybody's on the one hand to the understanding that change needs to occur while simultaneously not getting it necessarily from the leading framework. She says React team knew actually probably as soon as anyone else that certain type of change is inevitable.
