Is There a Language of Remaking in the Church?

In terms of trome and troma theology, i often talk about post traumatic remaking. I avoid healing in the christian sense because it tends to bring with it a connotation of god performing something sudden and miraculous. The process of remaking is something will continue for a very long time, and perhaps never be completed. So i don't like healing or recovery just because they bring with them some unhelpful baggage. Have there been any spiritual practices that you've found helpful on this journey of remake? M, there have been various different things i've found really useful.
