The Spirit's Blessings in the Word of God
Our God is a speaking God. He's spoken through his son, and he cares about you personally. So when we're speaking that hurting another image bear or our church, our church, a church, in this case, Paul's writing to a whole church. When a church is acting this way, the Spirit is grieved. That's how a community of saints live. And that's how communication creates community. Let's pray together. Lord, would you grant us the grace to ask forgiveness, to show forgiveness to one another? Would you fill us with words that build up, not in some false, gross way, but just real sincere words that are helpful?
