The Life of Socrates
He's also called the Roman Socrates by some because he just sort of wanders around and like talks to people. The Rome that he comes to is not the Rome we think of. But there are a lot of Florentines there who value above all culture and beauty. He ends up being a tutor, but lives a very modest life.
