Israeli-Turkish Relations - What Do You Think?
The Israeli strategy has not changed that much from what we described in the 50s, called the Peripheral Strategy. Israel would love to be friendly again with Iran, if possible, maybe after the Islamic Republic changes. In the case of Turkey, Israel had worked very hard through its intelligence agencies and then even with the militaries to work with Turkey. And I can tell you that Israeli intelligence intends to be part of restoring an excellent working relationship with Turkey by finding common foes.
