Silicon Valley is full of investors that are either too young or lack the courage to talk truth to founders for fear of not being loved. What I see returning now, which I'm happy about, is truth telling that's founder friendly. There's a big effect here since Elon took over Twitter, this Elon effect. Everybody can say whatever they want about his style, his approach, et cetera. But the courage in making that level of change and everybody said the lights would turn off at Twitter wouldn't work anymore.
Brad Gerstner of Altimeter Capital joins Molly and Jason for an epic Friday show. They chop it up about the state of the economy, what it actually means to be founder friendly and discuss which big tech companies are“fit”. (1:24)
