The Influence of Frankish in French

Linguists have calculated that there are a bit more than 500 words of frankish origin in modern french. Of those 30 thousand corps words in english, fully one third come from french post norman conquest. French is a latin language with notable frankish influence, but certainly not a high degree of hybridization. And the celtic heritage is practically no for me.
