The Physiology of Hypothermia

There's this whole other set of amazing physiology that occurs when the human body is warmed up from hypothermia. A short, squat, heavier person is more resilient to cold because there is less body surface exposedp unit of metabolism compared to a tall, skinny person with long s. And people who have more body fat would stand cold better. Tibetan monks can actually control their physiology in a way that they they can eatit warm or cool their body. Australian aborigines traditionally would sleep i very lightly clothed in cold desert conditions.
