Trans-Illumination of the Sinuses
Trans-illumination of the sinuses is when you shine a very bright light into somebody's maxillary sinus. It has a positive likelihood ratio of 1.6 and a negative likelihood ratio of 0.5. That will roughly allow you to go from a pretest probability of 70% to maybe 73%.
