Is the Scotch Irish Culture in the United States?

The scots irish have a strong culture of honor. They are very connected to kin and loyalty. When they settled in, say, northern cities or towns, any detectable remnants of this scotch irishness disappears. But when they settled in the more remote areas of the spreading united stateste, the scottirish culture was able to survive and persist.
