The Bad Transition in Poland
There are a few stages of this bad transition. I think the first stage that was also very broadly covered in Europe is the capture of the Constitutional Court in the late 2015. The next stages were changes in the ordinary courts, where Ministry of Justice arbitrary changed many presidents of the courts. And the last stage, it's of course these changes in the Supreme Court. It violates the Polish Constitution. So Poland today would not be able to join the European Union.
