The State of Open Con - What's Next?

I think we need something a bit different. The days of these big fancy booths at conferences are short-numbered. I don't think that's what people want out of it. We're trying to create longer spaces and accepting that not everybody will be in conference track or topics. Things like Boeing have given us their virtual reality headsets, and they'll be managing those and having flight simulation. It's the kind of thing you would stumble upon somewhere you didn't know doing and might spark up a conversation.
