Nebuchadnezzar: The Last Babylonian Ruler

Nebuchadnezzar, the last Babylonian ruler, seems to have been alive during his rule. He was succeeded by one of his sons, Amalmarduk, who was assassinated after two years. And then power was seized by Neregli-sar, who was very probably the son-in-law of NebuchadneZZar. The empire collapsed overnight in 539 because there was this other empire being built on the Iranian plateau.
