The school issued a long overdue apology, saying it allowed institutional policies regarding race to be shaped more directly by the segregationist ethos of america culture. By the 19 sixties, fundamentalists across the south had become so obsessed with cultural issues they had embraced an anti biblical ideology. And based on his experience at bob jones and across the south, i asked john to exegete the word fundamental. Here is what he said: Fundamental is fun too much damn. And not enough mental.
