The Relationship Between Reason and Passion in Christ

A number of models have been proposed for explaining the relationship between reason and passion in Christ. This is a very difficult question, in part because it is quite controversial. For Christ Aquinas does say that he let the lower powers of his soul move according to their own properties. And those things did move the way they would move in us except that reason would have been able to control them so as to prevent them from going overboard.
