The influence of the built environment on our thought processes is real, which is why i love when you talk about this. Every single human should have the right and access to nature in one way or another. It's incredibly important for our sanity. People in treeless neighborhoods are dying from mental disorders from not being surrounded by na. In a way, where we're stuck, things are going to look very different moving forward. The world has integrated some of humboldt's world. We've taken up enough of it to start asking ourselves questions about what it means to be able to have that kind of indigenous appreciation for the systems in which exist without having to leave the city.
