The idea being that if you reset to exactly the same state and have the robot do it over again, there's not really a lot of learning that's going to happen. Its kind of similar to adversary robustness from the cor machine learning world,. Where you try to be robust to different distributions that you might encounter at test time. And so that, i think that that's a big step towards like actually having large data sets and like scalable robot learning.
