The Government's Pressed Paws

You took an absolute pasting for quite a lot of people in your own party. You must surely feel a bit sore about it. Well, i'm a reformer by instinct. I believe that you go into politics to achieve things. And housing is one of those areas where you can make a huge difference. It cuts across allf the government's priorities. So i strongly, strongly urged the prime minister to stick with it. Of course there's always ways to refine and improve proposals,. But don't lose heart because i do think that we will regret, rather like social care.
