The Human Rights Council

The human rights council is the premier body in the u n for addressing and discussing human rights. Its predecessor was the u n Commission on human rights, which existed for about six decades. China's behavior in this body did contribute to a growing lack of credibility, or loss of credibility, for the commission on human rats. And overtime, a there was a growing chorus that this body needed to be reformed.
