Why Representatives Have the Ability to Not Live in the Districts They Represent
Rep. Ruben Navarrette: I think the pressure for more housing is probably going to outweigh any sentimentality about historic buildings, even though they are part of our history here in Arizona. The districts are redrawn every 10 years that the districts are engineered in many cases to be partisan by their nature. It's up to voters ultimately to give it the weight that they think it deserves.
