In ninth grade, i had a friend named thomas. He helped me through clarly hard times in high school when i felt like i couldn't turn to any one else. About junior year he began dating a girl that was known to be a little bit of a manipulative person. She even tried to talk him out of a full scholarship to college because she wanted him to attend the university that she was going to. I warned him about her, asking him to please reconsider seeing her, but he refused. That was the only time she didn't get her way because of her i lost contact with him after school.
