The Different Types of Instincts
An inclination isn't a decision or choice. An inclination differs from a decision in that an inclination is not directly under our control, while the decision is so by definition. Jill would be reprimanded for doing the splits, but not for merely being inclined to do that. How much distinguishes between three kinds of inclinations, depending on where they originate? We would probably call these feelings field sadness.
