The Importance of Modularizing by Layer

I find that sometimes it's not exactly easy to say you should go just one route, right? I think this has some parallels to like micro architecture or microservice architecture on the back end. So eventually we did have to figure out how to split those, those monoliths. The flip side of that is you probably also don't want to have, you know, spin up a new database for every feature in the mobile app.
