The Tale of Harold and the King of Bosham

The tapestry is laid out in such that the main story happens in the centre of the cloth, and then underneath and above the main story is a sort of occasional commentary. And i'll do my best to describe what these images are. So first we have a scene where king edward is meeting with harold in his palace, and he's iss ing instructions. Next we see harold riding to his estate at boshem, accompanied by his thanes. Along the way they take part in some hunting, because, you know, nobles at bosham. We see them pray and feast before making an uneventful channel crossing. And then they land at pontieu, which is
