The Oil Company Taxes the Consumer
Bob Greene: Politicians can say all they want about we're taxing the oil companies. They just passed that on the form of higher prices, he says. The government made probably what five, six times as much profit as the company as the oil company, right? Yeah. He says it's really the consumer who's paying the politician gets to hide and claim that he hasn't taxed the consumer.
