The Horizontal Stabilizer Breaks Off
The problem with the jack screw, which caused the crash, is all part of the horizontal stabilizer. The captain switched off the autopilot before the initial dive and it was then that aero dynamic loads began to pull at the ontal stabilizer. And these air, these aero dyna forces were pushing it, causing them, you know, their resistance. Ad, an, the it broke it broke off. Slik, i said, it was kind of stripping. Itlike it was barely holding on.
