The world we live in is increasingly like the world this was written toa and i think it is perpetually vant. The john piper that i want to be is is the john piper of this book. I'm not there yet. So i taught it a year ago, in the fall of 20 15. And i chose it just because all those things ie just said. Culturally and personally, it's a riveting book for me.
