Heidi's reading took a miraculous turn. The book Clara's grandmama gave her became her most treasured possession. But still the little girl was consumed with longing. She told the doctor of her dreams of the mountains and he diagnosed Heidi with severe home sickness, prescribed the only cure for her to return home at once. And that is where we pick up tonight with Mr. Cissimon reluctantly deciding to do just that. So lie back and relax as I turn to the next pages of Heidi.
