I think Solaris produces its source as well. It makes what is a story about the impossibility of two different sorts of minds communicating or consciousnesses. And to a story about this stupid relationship, which is like just dysfunctional and crappy, and like, sordid. The film is still great. I don't really... I don't mean it as... I don'st mean it to come across as extreme as I've said. He's not as good at communicating like intelligent ideas or thoughts. For all his discussion of being like... His philosophy of images is much better than his philosophy of everything else. Of like, life. Image and time. Yeah.
