Stephanie Coontz: I can imagine pre visit and post visit systems. She says they could help predict how many people are going to show up for their appointments. A study has shown that all of these non clinical, clerical burdens cost upwards of more than a hundred billion dollars a year to the us Health care system. So i think it takes the doctor away from the patients in funt of the bo so if you're a patient, you would rather your doctors spend all their energies on you and other people that they're serving, and not on paper.
