This song actually makes funk metal sound like a pretty good idea. The closest comparison I can think of would be Jimi Hendrix, but this is darker and more dangerous sounding than what he did somehow. And it also reminds me a little bit of the Detroit proto punk band Death,. Not to be confused with the Florida Death Metal Band Death. Back in the middle. To see my face. You get down. That's a good call. Ben just can't keep him off of his mind. But this is a scorching song. Eddie Hazel, his singing is functional here, but his guitar playing. Wow.
