The Keynesian Revolution in the Soviet Union
The essence of Keynesianism is it's built on the presumption that central planners can do economy better than the rest of us. And we've known for a long time, for at least 500 years since Adam Smith, that they are able to do one thing, which is just screw everything up that they touch. We have an actual experiment in the Soviet Union for some reason. The optimism is always there for them.
